TRANSLATION
Translation is the process during which the translator interprets and analyzes all the features of the source text. This activity requires in-depth knowledge of the grammar, semantics, syntax, idioms and the like of the source language. The translator needs to have even deeper knowledge in order to re-encode the meaning in the target language. For this reason, all our translators are native in the target language (with the exception of bilingual).
EDITING
Editing is the process during which the editor refines the translated text by checking the writing style and glossary terminology as well as the style specifications (if provided by the client). The editor makes sure that the translation does not read like a transliteration, but reads as if it was originally written in the target language.
PROOFREADING
Proofreading is the process during which the third native speaker of the target language reviews the edited text and makes sure that all terms are consistent and the final product is according to the style provided by the client.
TRANSLATION PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Every translation job is treated as a single project. Hence, the secret behind our quality translations is the adoption of an efficient project management system. Special management software traces activities from the acknowledgment of orders through to invoicing. This software also manages and stores the progress and any information relevant to translation jobs, including quality control.
The system is operated by customer-oriented project managers with extensive experience in the field, whose aim is to ensure that every customer project is monitored and submitted in time.
